Katie Miller (b. 2001) is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and BFA graduate from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Fibers. She has exhibited work across Maryland, North Texas, and South Florida. Her work collages iterative and intuitive rituals of weaving, printmaking and biomaterial fabrication to explore our relationship to the natural world through the material and the ephemeral. Influenced by signs and symbols of the occult, Miller’s practice poses craft as a tool for spiritual resilience and as a means of entry to eclipsed systems. She is currently based in Dallas, TX where she is pursuing an art-restoration apprenticeship with Markt Ludwig Art Studios.
