Katie Miller (b. 2001) is an interdisciplinary artist and educator. Her work collages iterative and intuitive crafts of weaving, printmaking and natural dye to explore our relationship to the natural world through the material and ephemeral. Influenced by signs and symbols of hermetic teaching and the occult, Miller’s creative practice poses magic as a tool for spiritual resilience and as a means of entry to eclipsed systems and connections. The following work invites the viewer to consider the shapes and colors of the sacred present in our everyday lives, and draw us closer to it.
